How was your week? Mine was really busy. I attended 2 conventions this week, one for fun, and one that I was vending at.
Despite everything, I’m still here to round off the week with my weekly comic haul! I don’t have a huge haul this week, but I still wanted to share what I picked up!
Let’s dive right into it, shall we?
As always, I will start with the individual issues, then move onto the collected works/graphic novels.
Individual Issues
Batman: The Brave and the Bold. Issue #1.
Admittedly, I wasn’t going to pick this one up until I saw the Dan Mora preview images from the Black & White section at the end.
I’m glad that I did end up getting this though, and I’m excited to read more.
That’s it for individual issues for this week – but look out for next week, I’ll have a number to share then!
Collected Works/Graphic Novels
We’ll move right along into the collected works and graphic novels.
DC Pride Anthology 2023
DC 2023 Pride Anthology. Foil Variant Cover by Jen Bartel.
I am in love with this cover, and I’m so glad I was able to get my hands on it. This anthology is really adorable, I love seeing what DC comes out with for Pride each year.
Event Leviathan
Event Leviathan.
I picked this one up thanks to the inclusion of both Red Hood and Green Arriow, but I get a lot of enjoyment out of conspiracy and intrigue, so I’m looking forward to reading through this one.
And that’s it for this weeks haul! I hope you enjoyed and join me next week for the next one!

How is your day going? Mine has been very productive so far, so I’m pretty happy with that – though I am looking forward to relaxing tomorrow for the holiday. Do you have any plans for the holiday tomorrow is you’re in the US?
I’m here today to book end the week with my weekly comic book haul. As always, I’ll start with the individual issues, then follow up with the graphic novels.
Let’s just jump right in, shall we?
Individual Issues
Nightwing #104
Nightwing. Issue #104. Regular Cover.
This is the last issue of the current 4-part storyline, and I’m excited to see how this story will end, especially given the cliffhanger at the end of the last issue.
Tim Drake: Robin #9
Tim Drake: Robin. Issue #9. Regular Cover.
I’ve really enjoyed the change in art-style for this run of comics, though I am sad to know that it will be ending after the next issue.
Dead Boy Detectives #6
Dead Boy Detectives. Issue #6. Regular Cover.
The last issue of this mini-series. I’ve really enjoyed reading this, and now I really want to read Nightmare Country with the Corinthian.
I love that I learned more about Thai ghosts and folklore through reading this series.
Knight Terrors: Preview.
Knight Terrors: Preview. Jason Fabio Foil Edition.
This is a preview comic for the upcoming horror event. I love Jason Fabok’s art, so I am glad that my local comic book store still had a copy of this. It features some of the character designs and some of the covers that are going to be released.
I’m actually really excited for this event.
That’s it for individual issues, so now I’ll share the new graphic novel that I picked up.
Graphic Novels
Batman/Superman: World’s Finest. Volume 1: The Devil Nezha.
Batman/Superman: World’s Finest. Volume 1: The Devil Nezha.
Ever since I found the first issue of this in a local half-price bookstore, I’ve been looking forward to reading more, so I’m glad to have finally found this! This story is so cute, and I adore Dan Mora’s art-style.
The relationship between Robin and Supergirl is especially entertaining.
And that is it for this week’s haul! I hope that you enjoyed! I’ll see you again next week for the next one!
If you’re interested in seeing more of my nerdy content, you an check out my social media below!
How has your weekend been? I had a really fun day out yesterday, and I’ve just been getting stuff done around the house today.
As usual, I’m here to finish off the week with my comic book haul! If you’re new, this is where I round up all of the comic books that I picked up during the week – if you’re interested in a quicker summary, I post a monthly haul over on my TikTok!
As is the norm by now, I’ll start with individual issues, then move onto graphic novels!
Let’s get started, shall we?
Individual Issues
SuperBoy: The Man of Tomorrow #2
SuperBoy: The Man of Tomorrow. Issue #2. Regular Cover.
The last issue ended off on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next!
It’s fun seeing a character that I’m so used to seeing as part of a team, get to go and have an adventure on his own. It’s also really cool to see his confidence and self-doubt play against each other, and how they factor into his decision making.
SuperBoy: The Man of Tomorrow #2
SuperBoy: The Man of Tomorrow. Issue #2. Variant Cover by Simone di Meo.
Just, everything about this cover brings a smile to my face.
Titans #1.
Titans. Issue #1. Regular Cover.
This week has actually been pretty big for DC comics fans with the release of issue 1 of the new Titans series!
They’re taking over from the Justice League after the events of the Dark Crisis as the world’s premier superhero team.
It’s honestly really cool to see these characters back together now that they’re all grown up. I’m especially interested in seeing Nightwing’s development as he essentially steps into the #1 spot.
Titans #1.
Titans. Issue #1. Variant Cover by Jen Bartel.
I couldn’t resist the Dick Grayson variant cover, especially with cute little Haley there with the escrima stick. That’s a good Bite-Wing!
That’s it for the individual issues! We’ll move into the graphic novels, of which there is only one this week.
Graphic Novels/Collected Works
Superman: Son of Kal-El. Vol 3: Battle for Gamorra.
Superman: Son of Kal-El. Volume 3: Battle for Gamorra.
This is the only graphic novel that I picked up this week!
This is the last of the graphic novels collecting the run of Superman: Son of Kal-El. I’m excited to see how the story plays out, as I’ve really enjoyed this one so far!
And that’s about it for this week’s haul! I hope that you enjoyed, and I’ll see you here next week for the next one!
If you’re interested in seeing more of my nerdy content, you an check out my social media below!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and that you also had a good Monday! My weekend was very busy as I had my first Artist Alley, at Hazard Con. Vending at conventions is really fun, but also really exhausting.
That’s why I’m bringing you this haul a day late, I was just so tired when I got home last night that I didn’t have the energy.
As always, I’ll start with the individual issues and then move on to the collected works/graphic novels.
Let’s dive right in!
Batman: White Knight Presents Generation Joker #1
Batman: White Knight Presents Generation Joker. Issue #1. Regular Cover.
I’m a really big fan of the entire White Knight universe, so I’m really excited to read this adventure featuring the twin children of Jack Napier and Harleen Quinzel.
This is the only individual comic book that I picked up this week, so we’ll move into the collected works/graphic novels!
Batman Noir: The Long Halloween.
Batman Noir: The Long Halloween.
I found this at my local Half-Price bookstore and I am so excited about it. The Long Halloween is one of my favourite Batman stories, and I love the style of these Noir editions, so having this edition in my collection makes me really happy!
Batman Beyond (Rebirth) Vol 7: First Flight
Batman Beyond (Rebirth). Volume 7: First Flight.
Adding more to my Batman Beyond collection, and the introduction if Batwoman Beyond.
The Joker: 75th Anniversary Collection.
The Joker: A Celebration of 75 Years.
Another find at my local Half-Price bookstore. This was actually brand new and sealed! I’m sad that this doesn’t include the Joker’s Last Laugh story, but I’m still looking forward to reading through it.
Teen Titans (Rebirth) Vol 2: Turn it Up.
Teen Titans (Rebirth). Volume 2: Turn It Up.
Picked up the second volume of Teen Titans while I was away at an anime convention over the weekend. I enjoy the team dynamics here, so I’m looking forward to reading more!
And that’s it for last week’s haul! I’ll see you next week for the next one!
I usually don’t pick up individual issues of Batman, but I couldn’t resist this variant cover, it is just so cool! I love the different designs of all of the Robins, even though there is one there who shouldn’t be wearing pants but is.
This issue also features Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond, so that was a fun bonus.
Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #3.
Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent. Issue #3. Regular Cover.
Jon begins to learn about the new universe he has found himself in. What will he think about what he finds?
The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #8.
The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing. Issue #8. Regular Cover.
I’m finding myself looking forward to the release of this each month. The story really has me intrigued, and I like to see what the brief mention of Jason Todd will be each time.
That and I’m just really falling in love with Carmine di Giandomenico’s art style.
And that is all for this week’s haul! There’s something new starting on Tuesday that I’m really excited to pick up, but you’ll find out more about that next week.

I hope you have all had an amazing week! My week has been pretty chill, and the weekend so far has been relaxing and low-key. Did you have any fun weekend plans? What did you get up to?
As per usual, it’s time to wrap the week up with my weekly comic book haul, the last one for the month of April at that!
We’ll just jump right in.
If you happen to be new here – here’s how it goes; I will go over the individual issue comics that I picked up first, then I will move into collected works/graphic novels!
Let’s begin, shall we?
Dead Boy Detectives #5.
Dead Boy Detectives. Issue #5. Regular Cover.
The penultimate issue of this storyline. As of writing this, I haven’t read this issue yet, but I absolutely adore the cover of this one.
The Riddler: Year One #4
The Riddler: Year One. Issue #4. Regular Cover.
I’ve really been enjoying this glimpse into the backstory of the Riddler as he appears in Matt Reeve’s The Batman film.
I’m going to have to go back and re-watch the film with the context of this comic after the final issue (issue #6) comes out.
Tim Drake: Robin #8/
Tim Drake: Robin. Issue #8. Regular Cover.
The next part of Tim’s story begins as an injured Batwoman appears on his boat with no memory of the past few months. What could it all mean?
And that is all for the individual issue comics that I picked up this week.
We’ll move right along into the collected works/graphic novels!
Batman: Gotham Knights. Vol. 1: Transference
Batman: Gotham Knights. Volume 1: Transference.
I’ve been looking for the collected edition of Gotham Knights for a while now, and one of my local comic book stores had it, so of course, I picked it up. I’m not usually a fan of Devin Grayson’s writing, but I’ve heard that this series focuses on character more than anything else – especially the relationships between Bruce and his family.
Batman: Gotham Knights. Vol. 2: Contested.
Batman: Gotham Knights. Volume 2: Contested.
The same comic book store has the second volume as well, so I picked that up too!
I also really like the cover art on this one. Just the little details of the ivy vines wrapped around Robin, and the slightly sinister expression on Poison Ivy’s face.
And that’s it for this week’s haul! I hope you enjoyed it!

How are you doing today? How has your weekend been? What have you gotten up to?
My weekend has been pretty fun, I went to visit the National Aviary yesterday, so look out for a snapshot post from that coming soon! I’ve spent today just chilling out at home.
I’m ready to bring the week to a close with my weekly comic book haul though, so let’s get right into it!
As always, I will start with the individual issues that I picked up, before moving on to graphic novels/collected works.
Let’s get started, shall we?
Nightwing #103.
Nightwing. Issue #103. Regular Cover.
The saga of the Grinning Man and the Demon Neron continues. I love this cover though, I just adore the idea of Bludhaven adopting Nightwing as their city mascot.
Nightwing #103.
Nightwing. Issue #103. Variant Cover by Jamal Campbell.
Of course, I had to pick up the Jamal Campbell cover for the month as well. This one just gives me big Superman vibes.
SuperBoy: The Man of Tomorrow #1.
SuperBoy: The Man of Tomorrow. Issue #1. Regular Cover.
I’ve been looking forward to this story since I saw it was announced, so I’m really excited to follow this new adventure for Konnor. And I’m glad that he has his sunglasses and leather jacket.
Batman: Beyond the White Knight #1.
Batman: Beyond the White Knight. Issue #1.
Batman: Beyond the White Knight #2.
Batman: Beyond the White Knight. Issue #2. Regular Cover.
The first of two issues that I was missing from this run. I found it at a comic store a little bit further away that we don’t get to visit very often. I’m happy to have it as part of the collection now/
Batman: Beyond the White Knight #2 Variant.
Batman: Beyond the White Knight. Issue #2. Variant Cover.
I just really like this cover of Terry McGinnis okay?
Batman: Beyond the White Knight #3.
Batman: Beyond the White Knight. Issue #3. Regular Cover.
This is the final issue I needed to complete this run of comics, and I was glad to find it with issue #2.
And that is it for the individual comics that I scooped up this week.
Now we’ll move onto the graphic novels.
Nightwing; Rough Justice.
Nightwing: Rough Justice.
I’m always happy when I come across older Nightwing material at comic book stores, especially anything that was illustrated by Scott McDaniel, so if course I picked this up the moment that I saw it on the shelf. I just adore the art style from this period.
Nightwing: The New Order.
Nightwing: The New Order.
I’ve seen screenshots from this floating around but I haven’t been able to pick it up until now. I’m curious to get into it, and am grateful to have it as part of my TBR pile.
And that’s it for this week’s haul! Did you see anything that you’re read before? Or anything that you might be interested in picking up for yourself?
If you’re interested in seeing where I go to pick up my comic books, I usually grab them from New Dimensions Comics. They have multiple stores and they ship! They also have a pretty great rewards program if you end up picking up a lot like I do! This isn’t sponsored at all, I just through I would mention it!

How are you doing today? I hope that you had a good weekend, and that the rest of the week treats you well.
I’m starting off the week with my comic book haul of everything I picked up during the last week. This is going to be all collected works/graphic novels, as there were no new individual issues released last week that I needed or wanted to pick up – that’s sure to be different this week though.
With all that being said, let’s dive right in shall we?
Batman Beyond: Neo Year
Batman Beyond: Neo Year.
I’ve been really enjoying getting back into Batman Beyond after a really long time, so I’m pretty much reading anything I can get my hands on. I’m looking forward to getting into this one, and seeing more of Terry McGinnis.
I also just really love the cover for this one.
Future State: Gotham. Volume 3: Batman at War.
Future State: Gotham. Volume 3: Batmen at War.
This is the last graphic novel in the Future State: Gotham series. I’m excited to read the conclusion, as I’ve been enjoying this series. It’s been an interesting story for Jason Todd especially.
Robin. Volume 3.
Robin. Volume 3: Secrets and Shadows.
This is another last volume in a series that I’ve enjoyed. This is the last of Damian’s solo journey on Lazarus Island that lead into the events of Lazarus Planet and Batman vs Robin.
I especially enjoy Damian and Conner’s (Hawke) friendship through this run.
Teen Titans. Volume 1.
Teen Titans. Volume 1: Full Throttle.
I’ve been wanting to read this run for a while now, and I’m excited to finally have found this.
Titans United.
Titans United.
I’ll be honest, I only want to read this to see Jason’s dynamic with thes rest of the Titans. I’m still looking for Titans Together, the other run where he joins up with them.
And that’s it for this week’s haul! Did you see anything that you’ve read? Do you have any recommendations?

I’m looking forward to this run really getting going in the Injustice universe, I’m interested to see what Tom Taylor is going to be being back in that world.
And that’s it for the individual issues, next I’ll be moving onto to the one collected work/graphic novel that I picked up this week.
DC vs Vampires. Volume 2.
DC vs Vampires. Volume #2.
The second half of the main story of DC vs Vampires (does not include the All-Out War storyline.) I’m missing some of the individual issues, so I am really excited to read how this story ends!
And that’s my haul for this week! If you’re interested in seeing more nerdy goodness from me, you can check out my Nerdy IG or my TikTok!
