Good Morning Nerdy Birdies!
How are you? How has your week been going? Are you preparing for the holidays? Do you have anything planned for the weekend?
I hope that this post finds you well.
I’m doing well. The holidays have me a little stressed out, but that’s pretty typical for me.
Today’s post is my weekly round-up of new comic releases that I picked up from my local shop.
Support your local comic book store.
Let’s get right into it – shall we?
Single Issues

Absolute Batman. Issue #15. Cover A.
The Joker has finally been revealed in all of his repulsive glory.
Pennyworth explains his backstory, revealed in evolving layers to Batman – who just sees Joker as another enemy. Will he become just another prey animal for the man who never laughs?

Batman & Robin. Issue #28. Cover A.
The Quiet Man’s motive is divulged, as well as a horrifying revelation about Arnold Wesker.
Can Batman stop the war that’s coming?

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight – A League for Justice. Issue #6. Cover A.
The League for Justice heads into the Phantom Zone. Will they be ab le to stop Lex Luthor’s plan before the evil being contained is unleashed on the unsuspecting Earth?
This is the last issue – and it has some pacing issues, but I like the way that it sets up multiple future storylines.
All in all, I really enjoyed this run though. A good addition to the Gotham by Gaslight series.
And that is it for this week’s haul! I hope that you enjoyed it! As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments as well as any recommendations for stuff you think I should read!
