My day is going pretty well so far, though I had kind of a rough night last night. I’m excited for the weekend though!
It’s that time of week again, time to share the comics I picked up on this week’s New Comic Day. This week was pretty light, but let’s get into it!
Batman: The Brave and the Bold #9.

I absolutely couldn’t resist this awesome cover by Bruno Redondo! HIs take on the classic art from Batman: The Animated Series is seriously awesome. I really miss him as the main artist for the current run of Nightwing.
Titans: Beast World #5.

The Titans try to come to terms with the loss of one of their own as Amanda Waller’s plan is unleashed, and it might end in the deaths of over a million people! Also, the true identity of Doctor Hate is revealed?! Everything will come to an end in the next issue!
I’ve actually been enjoying this storyline quite a lot, it feels like a good use of Amanda Waller’s character, and I’m curious to see where the Titans will go after Beast World comes to an end.

I’m doing pretty well today! I am enjoying the mixture of calm and winter weather, even though it is giving me a little bit of whiplash.
I know that in my last post, I mentioned that I would be sharing my new comics on Tuesdays; well I have to move that to Wednesdays so I can be more consistent with my posting. I usually visit my local comic books store after work, and sometimes I get back too late to post what I picked up, so I’m just going to post everything on Wednesdays!

Nightwing and Superman (Jon Kent) search for Damian, who has been changed into an adorable(?) kitty who is being made to fight other Beasts. Will they find him before he gets in trouble?
A tie-in with Titans Beast World.
Also, I got a really good laugh out of this cover by Bruno Redondo.

I love seeing Dick in Travis Moore’s art style, and this cover is just so cute and wholesome.

I’ve had a pretty good week, though now I am preparing for more travel that I have coming up, so that is something to keep me busy.
As usual, I am here to wrap up my week by sharing this week’s comic book haul – it’s a pretty big one this week, as I had to pick up two week’s worth of issues.

I actually need to catch up with reading this series, but I always look forward to the cover art by Simone Di Meo.
The Beast World event has begun; after fighting off an intergalactic threat, all of the heroes of Earth have to face something far worse, one of their own!
What is Amanda Waller’s ultimate plan?
Knowing what little I do of this event, I’m actually kind of excited for it.
Batman Beyond: Neo-Gothic #5.
Batman Beyond: Neo-Gothic. Issue #5. Cover A/Regular Cover.
The pen-ultimate issue of this mini-series. Terry and Kyle have located the missing children in the Garden. What will they do when the Eldritch heart of Gotham City begins to rise to the surface and threaten Neo-Gotham? I guess we’ll find out next time!

I am still on the hunt for issue #2 so I can continue reading this series, the premise is just so cool, and I love Sean Murphy’s writing!

Batman Adventures: Nightwing Rising.
From the Batman Adventures Comics, based on the amazing Animated Series – we learn how Dick Grayson moved on from being Robin, and his journey to becoming Nightwing.
We also see the introduction of Tim Drake as the new Robin.
Batman Beyond: 10,000 Clowns.
Terry takes on the Jokerz Gang, and the Joker King in this storyline.
I’m always happy to find more Terry McGinnis Batman to read, so I was really stoked when I found this at one of my local comic book stores.
Batman Beyond: Batgirl Beyond.
There’s a new Batgirl in Neo-Gotham. How will current Batman, Terry McGinnis, and former Batgirl, Barbara Gordon deal with it?
Another Adam Beechen Batman Beyond that I am excited to have as part of my comic library!

Tension between the team threaten to tear them apart when someone from their past shows up looking for revenge – can the Titans band together?
P.S. I adore the cover for this one – it’s really cool to see Dick actually acting like a teenager.

The new stoty arc “Mind Bomb” begins, fresh off the heels of the Gotham War.
Bruce is all alone now, separate from his family – and he’s back on the trail of the Joker. How will be deal with his nemesis as well as dealing with Zur?
I guess we’ll find out!

Terry and Kyle are continuing to fall deeper and deeper underneath Gotham City, heading towards the Garden.
I like that we get some background on Kyle the Cat-Boy in this issue!

I’ve been enjoying this series so far, we’ve been getting a taste of all kinds of interesting stories. It’s always fun to see the Batman Black & White for the month as well.
Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War – Scorched Earth.

The conclusion of the Gotham War event, and Vandal Savage’s plan comes to fruition. Will Bruce and Selina be able to put their differences aside to stop him?
What will become of Gotham, and the Bat-Family, when everything is over?

I have to wait to read this one until I can find Issue #2, which I missed last month.
That’s it for the individual issues – I’m excited to see where things go now that the Gotham War is over, especially with Jason Todd. I guess we’ll have to just wait and see.

I know nothing about this series, but I thought the art style looked cute when I picked this up, so I decided to add it to my library.

I’ve been waiting for this to come out for months, and I am so excited to actually have my hands on it now!
I adore the dynamic of Damian and Jon’s friendship, so having it all in one spot to read is really awesome, especially as I’ve had a hard time piecing together the individual graphic novels of the series.
(I know online reading is a thing, but unless it is Webtoons, I don’t really care for reading comics online.)
