How are you today? How has your week been going so far? Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend?

My week has been going pretty well. I’m just trying to keep myself busy, mostly working on some craft projects.

Today’s post is my weekly round-up of new comic releases that I picked up from my local comic book store. This one is going to be a short one.

I’m trying to broaden my horizon by reading some more indie comics. I really enjoyed the first issue of this one, and I’m really excited to read the second.

I’m doing pretty well. I was away from home for a little bit, so I am still getting settled again. Apologies for skipping a couple of weeks of posts – I wasn’t able to get to my local comic book store, so I wasn’t able to post.

Today’s post though is my weekly round up of new comic releases that I picked up from my local shop.

Absolute Power: Super Son. One Shot. Cover A.

As we head towards the climax of Absolute Power, we get to see Jon Kent’s journey from becoming the puppet of the Brainiac Queen and his fight to regain his free will.

Dark Knights of Steel: All Winter. Issue #3. Cover A.

The Bat-Prince arrives! Pulled away from the Kingdom of El by a mysterious power, Bat-Prince Bruce Wayne joins Slade on his journey.

John Constantine – Hellblazer: Dead in America #9.

John Constantine – Hellblazer: Dead in America. Issue #9. Cover A.

(At this point, I am going to wait until this series has ended and then just binge read all of the issues.)

Lilith. Issue #1.

A rare non-DC entry for me. Something about this cover just drew me in, so I thought I would give it a go. I’ll let you know how that goes.
