How has your week been going? How are you doing today? Do you have any weekend plans?

I am doing quite well today. I started playing around with my exercise routine, and I’m having fun with it.

Today’s post is my weekly roundup of new comic releases that I picked up from my local comic book shop.

Single Issues

Detective Comics. Issue #1106. Cover A.

The entire city of Gotham has been infected with the courage virus, and the results are going to be devastating. The citizens, in their anger, are going after the GCPD, and the police are ready to respond with deadly force.

The situation brings Batman back to his roots – using Fear as a tool, ad as his ultimate weapon. Will he be able to act before the powder keg explodes?

Justice League Unlimited. Issue #16. Cover A.

Mr. Terrific’s plan to offer himself to Neron has failed, and the rest of the Justice League has their hands full trying to fight off both the villains released from the Phantom Zone, as well as completing the evacuation of Earth. Are they out of time?

Owlwoman has betrayed them, to save herself, but can the courage of her fellow heroes convince her to do the right thing? Can Mr. Terrific be saved from the Abyss?

Return to Sleepy Hollow. Issue #4. Cover A.

The mystery is beginning to unravel as Lotte discovers a set of graves, lost to time, and consumed by the forest.

What secrets will be revealed when the bodies inside these coffins are disturbed from their rest? How far back does the darkness go into the past of Sleepy Hollow?

Will Ichabod be able to help Lotte face the evil when Katrina is taken away as a suspect of the murders?

Today’s post is my weekly round up of new comic releases that I picked up from my local store.

Let’s get right into it – shall we?

Single Issues

Absolute Batman 2025 Annual. One Shot. Cover A.

Absolute Batman takes on some white nationalists in this one-shot annual issue. We get to see a little bit more of Bruce’s relationship with his father, and we learn more insight into how this Absolute Batman’s mind works.

The art style of both stories contained in here is very cool. It’s very bold and dynamic.

Batman & Robin: Year One. Issue #12. Cover A.

In the final issue of this run, we see the Dynamic Duo earn that nickname as they take on Two-Face and Clayface.

I really have enjoyed the way that this story has built up the relationship between both Batman and Robin, as well as Bruce and Dick. It’s a kind of wholesome that we don’t see much in Batman stories anymore.

Batman: The Long Halloween – The Last Halloween #10.

Another final issue; and another final issue that pits Batman and Robin against Two-Face.

The ‘freaks’ of Gotham face of against the ‘family’ of Gotham, made up of the remnants of the Falcone Crime Family. Can Batman stop the war before it starts, before it spills out over all of Gotham? Can he finally put a stop to the Holiday killer?

Another run that I really enjoyed – I just need to go back and read it as a whole, as there were some gaps in the publication, and I tend to forget little details.
