How are you today? How has your week been going so far? Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend?

My week has been going pretty well. I’m just trying to keep myself busy, mostly working on some craft projects.

Today’s post is my weekly round-up of new comic releases that I picked up from my local comic book store. This one is going to be a short one.

How are you today? How has your week been going so far? Do you have anything planned for the weekend?

Happy Halloween to those of you who celebrate it! Do you have anything fun going on for the holiday?

My week has been going pretty well, and I am excited for Halloween today. It’s my favourite holiday, as well as my wedding anniversary!

Today’s post is my weekly round up of the recent releases that I picked up from my local comic book shop.

Let’s dive right in – shall we?

Batman – The Long Halloween: The Last Halloween #2.

Batman – The Long Halloween: The Last Halloween. Issue #2. Cover A.

I’ve really been enjoying this sequel so far. Things are really ramping up – Two Face is still on the run with Gilda, Commissioner Gordon’s young son has been kidnapped, and now someone is trying to kill the Penguin!? Will Batman be able to solve the case, with the help of Robin?

I enjoy that Robin has been included in this story, as I like getting to see what different writers do with the early dynamic between him and Batman.

Poison Ivy/Swamp Thing: Feral Trees. Issue #1. Variant Cover by Jessica Fong.

Something is happening in the forest, and it is up to Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing to figure out what. I’m looking forward to seeing where this story goes, and where it will take Ivy’s character.

It’s nice to see the return of the Vertigo label.

My week has been going pretty well. I am happy for the change in weather – it’s finally cool enough for me to break out my sweaters!

Today’s post is my weekly round up of new releases that I picked up yesterday from my local comic book store. I also picked up a new figure, so expect a post about that soon!

Absolute Power. Issue #4 (Final). Cover A.

The final battle with Amanda Waller and her Amazo Army has arrived! Will the heroes be able to put a stop to her plan, and restore everyone’s powers?

I guess we’ll find out in the finale this blockbuster event!

Batman. Issue #153. Cover A.

There’s a new hero in Gotham? The Riddler is a changed man, and also a crypto-bro? So much is happening in Gotham, maybe somethings that Bruce Wayne and Batman can’t see.

It seems as though an old enemy is lurking in the shadows and waiting to strike.

I love the Trick or Treat variant covers, so I added this one to my collection.

I Know What You Did Last Crisis (Oneshot).

I adore these seasonal specials. What kind of spooky adventures will our heroes get themselves tied up in?

I especially love this cover, and the way it repeats.

DC: All-In Special.

American Vampire: Book One. DC Compact Classics.

This is a new series for me, that came highly recommended by one of the guys who works at my local comic book store.

It was just released in this DC Compact Classics format and I am excited to get into it.
