New Comic Day – 1st July 2026

Posted on July 2, 2026 by White Elorda

Good Morning Nerdy Birdies!

I hope that this post finds you well.

How are you today? How has the week been treating you? Do you have any fun weekend plans?

It’s actually my birthday today, so I am doing pretty well all things considered.

Today’s post is my weekly round up of new comic releases that I picked up. It’s a light one this week, I only had one subscription issue to get.

Remember to support your local comic book shops.

Let’s jump right into it – shall we?

Single Issues

Batman. Issue #11, Cover A by Jorge Jimenez & Tomeu Morey.

Variant Covers

Batman. Issue #11. Swimsuit Variant by Kris Anka.

I couldn’t resist this cover, and I am excited for the Nightwing Dan Mora cover that is coming out later this month.

Graphic Novels

The Odyssey: A Graphic Novel.

Apparently I am a collector of graphic novel adaptations of the Odyssey now. This one is definitely on the kid friendly side and has a simple, but effective, art style.

I’m always so interested to see how visual media chooses to adapt this story, especially interesting with the Christopher Nolan film releasing later this month.

And that is it for this week’s haul! I hope that you enjoyed it! As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments as well as any recommendations for stuff you think I should read!

New Comic Day – 17th June 2026

Posted on June 18, 2026 by White Elorda

Hello Nerdy Birdies!

I hope that this post finds you well.

How are you today? How has your week been going? Do you have any fun plans for the summer?

I’m feeling good today – I changed my sleep schedule, and so far it has been easier than I thought it would be.

Today’s post is my weekly round-up of new comic releases that I picked up from my local comic book shop.

Remember to support your local comic stores!

As a quick side note – from today, I will be changing up my comic book blog posts a little. I will still be sharign this post each week when I can, but I will be following it up with a new post sharing my thoughts and feelings on the comics that I’ve read during the week. I hope you’ll check those out.

Single Issues

Absolute Batman. Issue #21. Cover A by Nick Dragotta & Frank Martin.

Absolute Flash. Issue #16. Cover A by Nick Robles.

Absolute Green Arrow. Issue #2. Cover A by Rafael Albuquerque & Marcelo Maiolo

Nightwing. Issue #139. Cover A by Jorge Fornes.

Titans (New Titans). Issue #36. Cover A by Taurin Clarke.

Sleepy Hollow: The Witches of the Western Woods #2

Sleepy Hollow: The Witches of the Western Woods. Issue #2. Cover A by Corin Howell.

Compact Editions

Under the Red Hood – DC Compact Edition.

I think this was the one compact edition that I’ve been waiting for since it was announced. I’m really happy to have a copy of this comic that I can easily through into my bag.

I’d love to get a compact (or omnibus) edition of Rebirth Outlaws, but I already know that it will never happen; a girl can dream though.

And that is it for this week’s haul! I hope that you enjoyed it! As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments as well as any recommendations for stuff you think I should read!
