How are you today? How has your week been going? Do you have anything fun planned this weekend?

I’m doing pretty well. It’s less than a week until my birthday, so I am excited.

Today’s post is my round-up of all the new comic releases I picked up this week from my local comic shop.

The “We Are Yesterday” event is almost at an end.

My favourite things about this cover are definitely Batman Beyond and Robin!Jason Todd.

I’m excited to get into this, though I will probably wait until everything has been released.

I’m looking forward to a chill weekend, the first in a little while.

Today’s post is my weekly round up of new releases that I picked up from my local comic book store. As it is the last week of the month, this haul is a little bit lighter than usual.

Batman. Issue #160. Cover A.

The Hush 2 saga continues and everything is really going to hell. Why is Jason working with Hush? Why does Edward Nygma want to help out the Bat-Family? Damian is working with Bane!?

I’ll let the story continue to evolve before I really make my thoughts know.

I am enjoying both Jason and Dick in Jim Lee’s art style though.

I have to catch up with the rest of the “We Are Yesterday” events before I can read this one.

Today’s post is my weekly round-up of new releases that I picked up from my local comic book store.

Single Issues

Batman. Issue #159. Cover A.

The Hush Sequel continues and Red Hood makes his appearance! Is Jason working with Bruce’s former best friend – and what will he do to the Joker?

I guess we’ll find out as the story continues.

As a side note – this is more Jason Todd character whiplash – I might make a separate post going over my thoughts on it – so stay tuned!

Justice League Unlimited. Issue #6. Cover A.

We are Yesterday continues as Gorilla Grodd explains his plans, as well as the founding of Inferno – using a group of supervillains from the past. He has Martian Manhunter’s powers – will the League be able to stop them?

Manga

Batman: Justice Buster. Volume #4.

The final volume in this manga mini-series. Batman and Robin finally become a dynamic duo as Bruce faces Joe Chill.

I’ve really enjoyed this series, and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to read a Batman story in a different format. We’ll see if it gets a sequel.

Omnibus

Nightwing: Rebirth Omnibus.

Collects Nightwing: Rebirth #1 and Nightwing #1-43.

Variant Covers

Absolute Batman. Issue #1. Variant Cover by Dan Mora.

Absolute Superman. Issue #1. Variant Cover by Dan Mora. Foil Edition.

I couldn’t resist the foil edition of this cover. It is so pretty.
